Ingredients

2 1/3 Cups Cranberries
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Teaspoons Orange Rind, Grated
1/2 Cup Orange Juice

Directions

  1. In saucepan combine the cranberries, sugar, orange rind and juice. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the berries begin to pop.
  3. When ready, pour the mixture into a blender or food processor and puree. Press through a sieve or strainer. Serve.
  4. Optionally pour the mix into a mold, and place it in the fridge to cool. As it cools it will adapt to the shape of the mold, or bowl.

Notes

This sauce will refrigerate for up to 5 days. It will freeze for up to 1 month.
