Made from of cranberries, this sauce is commonly associated with Thanksgiving dinner in North America. This is a sweetened version.
Ingredients
2 1/3 Cups Cranberries1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Teaspoons Orange Rind, Grated
1/2 Cup Orange Juice

Directions
- In saucepan combine the cranberries, sugar, orange rind and juice. Bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes or until the berries begin to pop.
- When ready, pour the mixture into a blender or food processor and puree. Press through a sieve or strainer. Serve.
- Optionally pour the mix into a mold, and place it in the fridge to cool. As it cools it will adapt to the shape of the mold, or bowl.
