Ingredients

1/4 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Flour
2 Cups 18% Cream
Salt, to taste
1 Generous Cup Old Cheddar Cheese, Grated
2 Heads Broccoli, Cut Into Pieces

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. A add the flour, whisk together and cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat, add the cream slowly, whisking all the time.
  3. After all the cream has been added put in the salt and the cheese, mix well, cover and place on the back of the stove.
  4. Serve over steamed brocolli.
