Recipe Details

Difficulty: Easy
Prep: 2 Minutes
Cook: Minutes
Budget: $0-10

Directions

  1. Wash and clean berries.
  2. Place the berries on a large tray. The raspberries, blueberries, and currants can be frozen whole. It's best to slice the strawberries in half for freezing. Keep the berries from touching and place in freezer.
  3. After about an hour, remove the berries from freezer, and place in a ziplock bag. Label and date the bag, and place back into the freezer for up to 6-9 months.
  4. Tip: Buy your favorite type of berries during the summer when they are in season and cheap. Use the frozen berries in smoothies, sauce, jam, pies, etc.
