Ingredients

2 1/2 Cups Golden Raisins
1/2 Cup Canola Oil
1/3 Cup Hot water
3/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts
3/4 Cup Chopped Pecans
3/4 Cup Almonds
6 Cups Rolled Oats
2/3 Cups Honey
1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract (optional)
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 330 degrees F
  2. Mix the walnuts, pecans, almonds and oats in a large bowl
  3. In a smaller bowl, mix the water, oil, honey, vanilla extract and brown sugar
  4. Pour the small bowl of liquid mixture over the oats and nuts
  5. Mix until the oats and nuts are covered with the liquid mixture
  6. Spread the granola onto a large baking sheet
  7. Bake for 10 minutes
  8. Turn over the granola on the baking sheet
  9. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the granola is toasted
  10. Let the granola cool before adding in the raisins.
  11. Allow the granola to harden
  12. Break the granola into chunks and store in airtight containers.
