Ingredients

2 Slices White or Brown Bread
1/2 Slices Processed Cheddar Cheese (square cheese)
1/2 Teaspoon Butter
1 Tomato, sliced (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat a non stick frying pan to Medium low, add a 1/4 tablespoon a butter to the pan.
  2. Butter 2 pieces of white bread, place one piece of bread butter side down in the pan. Place cheese on bread in pan and put the other piece of bread buttered side up. Cook until brown and then flip to brown the other side.
  3. I like to serve it for my kids with Ketchup. For me Sweet Pickles or Dijon Mustard.
  4. Optionally for a healthier version use brown bread and instead of using a frying pan, place under broiler. Add a slice of tomato on top of cheese and broil until the cheese is melted, leaving out the butter.
