Summary

This recipe is simple and so delicious - any time of day.

Recipe Story

I love bananas - they are healthy and taste great. In order to incorporate more of these into my day, my grandfather suggested that I should try adding bananas to one of my favorite foods in the whole world - peanut butter and jam sandwiches. I was skeptical at first but this has now turned into a fifteen year love affair. I go through a jar of peanut better every two months...sometimes I think Kraft should sponsor my habit!

Directions

  1. Place two slices of bread on a cutting board.
  2. Spread one slice with as much peanut butter as you like.
  3. Slice half of the banana into thin slices. The consistency of the sandwich is better if the banana has a touch of green on the skin.
  4. Place the banana slices on the peanut butter, and eat the rest of the banana.
  5. Spread raspberry jam on the other slice of bread and voila. The Famous Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwich!
