I love bananas - they are healthy and taste great. In order to incorporate more of these into my day, my grandfather suggested that I should try adding bananas to one of my favorite foods in the whole world - peanut butter and jam sandwiches. I was skeptical at first but this has now turned into a fifteen year love affair. I go through a jar of peanut better every two months...sometimes I think Kraft should sponsor my habit!
Ingredients
2 Slices Wholegrain BreadPeanut Butter
1 whole Banana - slightly green
Raspberry jam

Directions
- Place two slices of bread on a cutting board.
- Spread one slice with as much peanut butter as you like.
- Slice half of the banana into thin slices. The consistency of the sandwich is better if the banana has a touch of green on the skin.
- Place the banana slices on the peanut butter, and eat the rest of the banana.
- Spread raspberry jam on the other slice of bread and voila. The Famous Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwich!
