Many years ago I found a brownie recipe from a Hershey's chocolate book. Lots of tweaks and alterations later and I have the crowd pleaser your reading today!

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
2 large Eggs
1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1/3 Cup Cocoa
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/8 Teaspoon salt
1 handful Chocolate Chips - any kind

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave (approximately 1.45-2 minutes), or use a double boiler
  3. In a mixer, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs until creamy.
  4. Throw in the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix till it looks delicious (you can eat it with a spoon at this point).
  5. Toss in chocolate chips and mix only briefly. You want to mix the chips up but not chop them into little pieces.
  6. Pour mixture into a greased brownie pan and put into oven.
  7. Leave in oven for roughly 20-25 minutes. You'll know they're ready if you stick a toothpick in the center and it comes out dry.
  8. Leave to cool on a wire rack. Cut into pieces and consume!
