Summary

these are super simple and delicious, and a pretty healthy alternative to regular beef burgers.

Recipe Story

I got these from a cookbook my mom bought me when I moved into my first apartment in college. I always make these on an indoor grill cause they're all I have, but I'm sure they barbecue really well too.

Directions

  1. Mix the ground turkey with the packet of pesto.
  2. Form into four equally sized patties.
  3. Grill them on Medium-High heat about 5 minutes per side or about that total on a Forman or similar grill. Make sure the juices run clear.
  4. Serve them tucked into warmed up pitas, or buns, whatever you prefer. I've garnished these with guac, cheese, veggies, and a roasted garlic mayo I'll be sure to add the recipe for soon!
