Ingredients

3 ounce Tequila (good)
2 Ounce Cointreau
1/2 Ounce Fresh Lime juice
1 splash Fresh Lemon Juice
Kosher Salt

Directions

  1. Rub martini glass rims with cointreau and dip in a saucer with kosher salt. I like this better than rock salt for taste and also you get less salt this way. Fresh ground sea salt is also good. Use cointreau on the rim instead of lime juice, the sweet and salty rim is better than sour and salty.
  2. Put tequila, cointreau, lime and lemon juice into a shaker with ice. The lemon juice is optional and should just be a splash.
  3. Shake until frothy and shaker is ice cold.
  4. Strain into prepared glasses.
