Recipe Story

Why buy croutons when you can make super easy, super delicious ones at home! I already have a crouton recipe on here, but I am using these to go with a roasted tomato and basil soup - they'd be yummy with salad too!

Directions

  1. Slice up your sourdough bread into crouton sized pieces - removing the crusts (they just don't bake up as evenly)
  2. Toss the sourdough chunks with melted garlic butter - I just used the store bought kind, but you could definitely make your own.
  3. Arrange the croutons in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake @ 400 degrees for about 10-15 minutes, or until they look nice and golden. That's it! So easy! Enjoy!
