Ingredients

1 bunch asparagus
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper

Directions

  1. Peel and break the ends off of the asparagus.
  2. Steam for 3 minutes. Set aside, pour out the water, turn off the burner and place the pot back on the burner.
  3. Add the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes to the pot and allow them to marry.
  4. Add salt and pepper to the asparagus. When the garlic looks a bit toasty, add the asparagus to the pot, toss and enjoy!
