Summary

Had to come up with something delicious and special, that could be prepared quickly and be child friendly, hence the cheese in the sauce with Shrimp! The dish was a hit and loved by all.

Recipe Story

We had spontaneous guests and lots of Tiger shrimp in the freezer, so we threw together whatever we had in the fridge!

Directions

  1. Put shrimp into cold water, separate them, then peel and remove the vein and set aside. Put some salted water on to boil for the pasta. Put some salted water on to boil,, when boiling add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes, then put them into an ice bath to stop the cooking.
  2. When the pasta goes into the pot to cook, make the cheese sauce as follows. I used the pot that I cooked the shrimp in. Heat the pot, add the garlic and butter until foaming, add the flour and cook it for about 3 minutes, add the cream, whisk, then the milk, whisk and when the mixture has thickened, add some salt and pepper, add the cheese mix well, taste, correct the seasoning, add the shrimp and the pasta, toss everything together. Place the mixture into a large pasta serving bowl, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and enjoy!
