This is a recipe that I have been making for years. I was in the kitchen and looking for something to whip together for a party and I came up with this dish. Everyone loves it, and I hope you do too.

Ingredients

2 pounds Extra lean ground turkey
1 can Stewed tomatoes
1 can Chili beans
1 Teaspoon TABASCO
1 Tablespoon Thyme
1 pinch Salt
1 bag Corn Chips
1 Jar Salsa
1 pound Grated mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan and place the ground turkey into the pan.
  2. Cook until the turkey is no longer pink, then add a can of tomatoes and let simmer for about one minute.
  3. Add the chili beans to the mixture and let cook for five minutes.
  4. Add the tabasco, salt and thyme to the frying pan, and mix well.
  5. Turn on the oven and preheat to 350 degrees.
  6. Pour the mixture into a ovensafe container. Sprinkle the corn chips over the mixture.
  7. Add the salsa and cheese and put the dish in the oven for about five minutes until the cheese is melted and chips are golden brown.
  8. Eat when cooled. I like to eat my dish with sour cream.
