This soup is really yummy and really easy to make. In it's most basic form, it isn't the healthiest recipe, but you can try different kinds of cheeses (low-fat cheddar doesn't melt quite as nicely, but it saves a lot of fat!) You can also sub out the heavy cream for some lighter variety, I've even tried thickening it with sour cream when I use a lower fat milk.
This salad is the true classic version, no white creamy restaurant style dressing here. This will serve four people as a main (with some protein) or more as a starter... But no matter how many or few people I make this salad for, it always gets fini
Croutons can easily be made rather than bought... I always make them for my Caesar Salad, but it's always great to make a huge batch and keep em kicking around.
